#Shorty - How to self-soothe
The intensity of these 2021 universal energies and the grounded energies of the Taurean new moon last week made for some interesting topsy turvy experiences as fresh starts are being created and deep soul connections are made.

Hey, everyone. Welcome. If you're new here, welcome to this episode, to this channel, to this podcast. Thank you for coming here sharing your time, your energy with me. And someone that comes here often every week, then, thank you for sharing your energy here as well. This week has been incredible. It's been wibbly wobbly, it has been like a glass-like lake, steady, even calm, the energies have been really high, really flat. And everything in between. And how you feeling?
I know this time last week, it was the New Moon in Taurus. And a lot of different things have happened since then. It's been quite amazing just witnessing how that energy is manifesting itself in the world. And I'm sure that you're experiencing this too.
If you've been following me on Insta Stories, you will know that this week, last week started on the 11th of May, which is no surprise that I get a download on the 11th of May. The 11th of the month is very much linked into Archangel Metatron. As I know it as I perceive it through my own training and my own connection with with his energy, but also it is 11 is a very accelerating ascendant type energy where oneness Yep, double, double one's pointing up to the sky pointing up to the universe.
So if you are a numbers person, if you see numbers, as signs and synchronicities, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about, for me 11 and 22 in the month 11th of the month, 22nd of the month, a very activating days of the month. And so on day one last week, which was the 11th, I received some information. I was feeling very wibbly wobbly, and I got called to ground myself and to come back to appreciating my physicality, because the energies are very how I perceive them to be that very airy fairy, very floaty, very discombobulated, I love that word.
The antidote to that the way to soothe that is to ground yourself. And so I went into my records and I got a download to do a practice a grounding technique, and to thank my physical body from the top of the crown to the tips of the toe and everything in between. And it has been incredible I decided to do this for 10 days, and today I am on day eight, eight, day nine So I'm almost there, I full transparency I missed one day.
So I'm going to add another day on the end. Not that that is any effort to do that, because it has been an absolute pleasure to be present in the moment on at the moment through this practice, and also engage in my body engage in appreciation much, much, much more consciously. We, of course, are now moving into this mercury shadow. And we are coming into the season of Gemini, the sun is in Gemini from the 20th. So in a couple of days time, all of this energy is adding to the lightness, right.
And so it felt even more beneficial to do some grounding. And actually, coincidentally, the, the 11th also coincided with a New Moon in Taurus, which is again, about it's an earth sign, it's all about grounding to the earth. So there was this conversation going on, energetically between, you know, being in the head physically, but also being feeling light feeling as if the world was operating outside of me in a way that didn't necessarily make sense to me. And there was this necessity to ground as well, and to harness that Taurus energy, which is very practical, all things Earth related.
And the thing that's very clear to me is that opening your records, consulting, high self, all of those things that are connected to the soul that are a direct link with your soul self, when you go on that journey. And, for example, open your records, and information comes through, you ask the questions, please, can I have some guidance on this? Please gonna have some guidance on that. And you get the answer.
What happens is is like Spirit gives you a big tick, a green tick emoji as I'm saying this, it's like an acknowledgment that you're listening. Because it can be easy to open your records, it can be easy to consult your highest self for guidance, received guidance, and then completely ignore it. Because, you know, the ego gets involved and says, you know, what do you need to do that just carry on in the way that you would normally carry on don't just don't take in this information. Why are you even bother asking, you know, all this internal chatter, but you get rewarded if you like, for taking action on your messages for taking action on the guidance you receive. So I've gone through this grounding exercise and, and it's been amazing.
I was thanking my body all the way from my scalp. I was thanking each chakra center, I was thanking cells, lips, eyes, you name it, all of the things that I could possibly think of that were in my body I thanked during these last few days. Once that happened, yes, I felt really good inside. I felt very balanced. As I was doing this, I could see a huge lake and it was the stillest glossiest lake you could possibly imagine everything was still everything there was this equilibrium, there was this pace there was this absolute balance going on.
As a result of committing to myself, but committing to following the guidance, then the world opened up in other ways. My sensitivity to energy to reading others to interpreting energy has kind of reached a whole new level. It's been like a gift that's been provided from the universe like a thank you gift and acknowledgement gift if you like because this came in kind of like two days later. I was so grateful.
A download around clearing my energy field more on say more strongly, maybe more definitively in between clients. So clearly my energy feel better more consciously. And I received that because I was feeling a little bit tired and a little bit irritated, a little bit annoyed. As part of going through and thanking my physical body, I recognized that it was actually a really effective grounding technique.
So I highly recommend that you try this for yourself, it's going to help you to feel less in your head is going to help you to feel more like you're living in your physical body. It's also going to help you to be present and conscious in the moment, it will relieve any pressure that is going on in your head in your mind, any pressure, that you're feeling tension that you're feeling in your body. If you're not feeling good right now, try 10 days of body gratitude, your life is going to flow in a better way, you're going to feel less irritated, you're going to feel a lot more like you are living in this physical world, with your feet on the earth.
The more I listen to my higher self, and consult myself and take action on the downloads I receive. The more I get synchronicities, the more alignments happen, the more messages come through, the more connected I feel. And literally, a day later, let me share this beautiful story with you. This was on day, I think it was day four of the body gratitude exercise. I had a lovely salt bath in the evening, and a T-shirt jumped out of my closet or fell out of the closet. And it was a blue t-shirt. And it was a t-shirt from a concert. Back in 2016. This concert was a Coldplay concert. And if you've been to that concert, you'll know that the branding was the Flower of Life logo as the logo on the front of these T-shirts.
And I had a look at this t-shirt and I was thinking 2016 That is five years ago. That is a long, long time ago. And of course, five years ago, we're in month five. They're in you know, you can read into a lot of synchronicities. And if you're if you are open and willing to receive, then you will see synchronicities happen much more often. So I was thinking that's really interesting, didn't go any further. I put this t-shirt on. And then the following day, I was in the car with my husband. And we were driving through Noosa.
And something I don't know what prompted me to do it. But I said to him, You know what I said that T-shirt last night, I put on the hat to look at the date. And the date that we saw that concert was 2016 and then said, that was the day that Jacquie passed away. And Jackie is was still is she's still very much around was a dear friend. And I've completely forgotten that date. And for whatever reason Den remembered it. And I said, wow, I said okay, and we turned the corner. And as we turn the corner, the car in front of us had the number plate, Jacquie JACQUIE, it happened so instantaneously that this message came through. It was crazy. And I could feel the energy I could feel her presence.
It was like a bolt of lightning that just went shone straight into my body. And we've had spent a lot of time together quite an intense period together before she passed. And she passed suddenly. And it was like, wow, what is going on here? Why am I receiving this information? Why is she coming along and just acknowledging this experience. Now that experience and the message, the meaning of that experience was different to Den, but for me, it was a confirmation of the relationship we had the relationship that we still have different men it's still a form of relationship and connection.
And it was a reminder of I have a intention that I'd set myself during this new moon period, around the kind of clients I'm calling in. And the type of work that I am doing have started I'm going to be doing in the coming months. And so she just arrived in with a, an acknowledgment a yes, you're on the right path, just keep going, just keep going, just keep going. And so it was a wonderful synchronicity. And I thank Jacquie, for her presence in supporting and acknowledging that intention.
And then I had another couple of days where I had this lake-like glassy lake-like energy, where I had absolutely no concerns, no anxiety, no fear at all, about life. I knew exactly where I was where I knew that I was actually where I needed to be. And of course, we know that, you know, we tell ourselves that all the time, but it was just like a whole new level of presence around that I've reached a new level of unblocking my creativity that I felt was, was really holding me back from growing and developing some plans. And I couldn't quite see initially, what was blocking those plans, but I knew that there was something in my field that needed to change, that needed to shift.
You know, and I can give myself Reiki, I can get myself being attuned to cosmic light, being attuned to Archangel Metatron, energy, you know, I can soothe myself, I can give myself all of these different healing energies. So I can navigate through things, I can shift my energy, I can align with the energy that's required. And I can feel so much better.
And so I guess what I'm saying is, it's a combination of listening to my highest self getting the guidance, following the guidance, taking action on it without really knowing or wanting to know what this is showing me what this is telling me what it's going to uncover, just letting go. Just loosening my grip on the outcomes, loosening my grip on the things that I had already been doing. The patterns, the behaviors, just loosening the grip on absolutely everything.
The result is that much more can shift. So I invite you to do the same, I invite you to do a day 10 days of body gratitude. I invite you to do a middle space practice. And I'll put the link to that in the show notes. I invite you to journal how you're feeling what's showing up for you right now what's going on for you in your feelings? You know, how are you feeling? What are your emotions? How you feeling energetically?
Have a look at that right now we're in this very strong period, we're coming up to eclipse season, our higher self is inviting us to look at what it is that we should be planning to clear right now. So that we can open ourselves up to our evolution to our soul growth in the coming days and weeks ahead.
There's such a strong energy of communication on all levels at the moment. Communication, inner communication, listening to those messages, listening to your highest self, listening to your intuition following the prompts, but then communication on the outside how we relate to others. Where we are playing small where we need to play bigger, you know the Dominion share this with us in this month's lessons from the records, channeling and I'll link that below in the show notes as well. So you can go back and listen to that if you feel pulsed.
It's just a lot of activity going on. And the more that you can self-manage self soothe that is going to be so beneficial for you. I'm doing so much journaling right now. It is crazy. It is intense, but it has a real purpose is very purposeful. I find that when I journal it releases more energy, the energy is able to flow to breathe And I get more synchronicities, I received more information.
I feel like my connection with my higher self-connection with spirit connection with a dominion is so so heightened right now. It's like the phone is permanently attached to my ear is the only way I can describe it, it is for long. And when it's like that it is so important to ground, it is really important to know how to self soothe. And it's very important to write down how you're feeling, write down what emotions are arriving, when they arrive, because you then create this body of information that you can go back and review. I've lost count of the amount of times where I've written something down.
That didn't make sense to me. I was just feeling what I was feeling. I received what I received. And I wrote it down. And it didn't make sense. And when I've gone back to it, days, weeks, months, years later, I have seen exactly what the message was about. I have learnt more about myself, my energy, my emotions, and I've recognized and been able to interpret why is I was feeling like that at the time.
This self-practice is so so so, so useful, is going to help you to grow, it's going to help you to evolve. And it is also going to help you to understand that you are always held and you are always loved. So often when we branch out, we go out into the world. And we try new things, we try something different we have these plans. And we have these obstacles that come through that we need to clear in order to manifest the thing to bring whatever our plans are into reality.
What's useful about journaling is that when you go back and read the words, you are reminded that you came through this, you transcended the experience, you went through the steps you took on the project, you saw it through to the end, and whatever that looked like at the end, you can really easily see that you were taken care of and that you were fine that you were held is such a gift to know this, and is a gift to have that detailed awareness of yourself and how you approach things and how you overcome them.
So if you're not journaling regularly, I highly highly, highly recommend that you journal and write everything out. You write out everything about what's coming up for you emotionally, and how you feel about things, and why you feel how you feel about the things. Write down all your synchronicities. Write down the numbers, write down any creatures that come into your awareness into your life. Write it all down.

So talking about self-soothing, how to use self-soothe, during times of profound emotion. Just this week, I recognized that I was being asked to clear an emotion related to my childhood that was wading through my life at the moment, and was an obstacle to my creativity, this energy, the word was misunderstood. And this week on Monday, I felt terrible, again, my energy shifted, and I got into the bath, I put some essential oils, and I've even been diffusing cinnamon in my diffuser, which I believe is a very good essential oil for coming back to the heart.
And for grounding, Cinnamon essential oil, you know, like clothes, ground cinnamon, all of those earthy, Woody type essential oils. And of course, spices are very good for grounding as well. I forgot to share that with you. So make a note of that if you're feeling ungrounded however, I had recognized that there was a block around being misunderstood. And it was and it's now I can see it because I've journaled it. And I've done one of my own emotions.
I've noticed where the energy of feeling misunderstood is playing out in various areas of my life. And I traced it back ancestrally. And I went into my records, I got guidance in order to locate what was going on there and who it was going on with. And I took myself back to points of my childhood, and I played my energy on it. And I needed to self soothe a lot of us here. I know in this community, we are empaths we are naturally sensitive, when naturally attuned to other people's emotions, we feel other people's emotions, we're aware of our own fluctuating emotions. And so as we ascend on this journey as we awaken, as we are, or have chosen the path of the soul, and aligning ourselves to our truth, aligning ourselves to our purpose, learning that it's to create a legacy is part of that path of knowing.
You become more sensitive, you become more sensitive, you'll find yourself wanting more peace, you'll find your mountain yourself wanting more space to be, you might find yourself feeling more intuitive, feeling more being having more psychic abilities. If you open your records, your Akashic records, you know that those downloads that that channeling, if you like will become more stronger, you'll become more aware. All of this makes us more sensitive. And it's really important to self-soothe.
I've noticed in myself and I've noticed in clients and you know, in the community as well, you may have found this as well, is that there's a lot of spontaneous crying as we move through this current energy, and it's perfectly natural. And I think I spoke about this in a previous podcast episode. I can't remember which episode it was, how tears were cleansing and clearing, and it's a way of self-soothing as well. Let those tears go let them flow. I know. It's pretty stressful to feel like you are permanently upset. You're permanently teary.
But it's also useful to change your attitude about how you see that for yourself how you see yourself crying and being upset. This is part of the healing process at the moment to see those emotions to let those emotions go As a way of self-soothing. This is a practical example of being in a heightened emotional state, to have some very deep feelings about yourself about anything, and just let them go.
And when I did my immersion this week, and cleared this energy around being misunderstood, I felt really, really tired. But I understand that this is part of the process, I recommend that you allow those tears to flow. And you give yourself space, after that, to be present with how you're feeling is to let those emotions pass through. Because once you clear that you feel so much better, you feel like you have released and you know that a release takes place. Yes, you get the physical tears. So you can observe the tears flowing, you can feel the tears flowing, and the result of those tears flowing.
But you can also feel your energy shift, you might feel tired, you might feel like you have more energy, you might yawn, you might sigh all of those things represent you having shifted your energy, having moved through that experience. And I've been having this mantra for a little while now. that I feel is really useful, and positive, and productive and effective.
And really aligns with knowing that all of these experiences are a gift, or a gift for you to work through and grow through. The mantra is feeling is revealing is healing. When you have an emotion, feeling to it. When you feel into it, it starts to reveal it starts to uncover what that emotion is all about. What is underneath that emotion, what is the origin of that emotion?
Where is it coming from? Where did it start? When you begin to reveal more of the information, you get a healing response, you begin to heal that thing, that aspect, that part, parts of you that are, and parts of your experience there that are involved in that emotion. Feeling is revealing is healing. I've been allowing that mantra into my world into my life. And it's been a present companion, as I've moved through this week.
So if that mantra feels good for you, feel free to bring it into your self-care practice. Because what will happen is you'll begin to feel different, your attitude will be different, you'll probably feel grounded, you may most definitely feel lighter. People say to me, I'm really going through this emotional time right now. I feel overwhelmed, I feel stuck. But this experience feels much more challenging, more challenging than then anything that I've ever experienced before. It's big, it's big. I need guidance on this.
It just feels so fundamental. It's a huge part of my life right now. And the thing is, the biggest soul growth experiences are so so, so uncomfortable. There's sometimes painful. I bet you that. If what you're experiencing right now feels like you're climbing the tallest mountain. It's because it's here to help you to heal. And it's because it's going to give you exponential growth is in these times where you can't force it. Don't force it. Let what wants to be seen be seen. When we uncover those hidden aspects of ourselves.
I like to call them the blind spots that can take a winding journey. It can have loops, it can have turns, it can come UPS it can have downs, learn to self soothe, learn to ground in the present moment with all of these tools that I've shared with you today. When I'm feeling what I'm feeling, what is this telling me I need? How can I work with this What is the purpose of knowing all of this information? What do I need to take action?
What is this telling me I need? How do I work with this? What is the purpose of knowing this information? On what do I need to do to take action and to take action, you really do have to be grounded, you really do have to be in your body. And I know that this week when I was going through my clearing, and I could hear my highest self saying, you can't be in the stars right now. You need to be in your body, in your center, to feel and to help shift your state. And those words I wrote down in my journal, and I'm reading them back to you now.
It is so useful to write down what comes through, because I would not have remembered that really crucial piece of information that I then took action on, that then brings me up to this point today, as I'm having this conversation with you. It's kind of conversation where I've learned something about myself, and I took action on that message that information. And I'm hearing now, being able to articulate it, having integrated it into my body, so I can share it. And you can receive this learning as well.
So I asked you invite you to invite in the teaching, let yourself be guided, guide yourself, listen to what you need. When you do that, and you listen, and you take action, you'll find yourself much more able to let go to surrender much more than you ever have done before. You're practicing levels of surrender, you're, you're practicing, being in the energy of that on once you are in the fullest experience of a level of energy, you are able to soften more deeply to a deeper level of surrender a deeper level of letting go.
That's why it's called a practice. Because being in the practice of it, self soothing, grounding journaling, listening to your messages. Oh, wow. Okay, so we have just had a power cuts. We have the solar people in to look at the system today. And I've just had a power cut, I was wondering whether I had lost all the content that I just recorded. There is so much to drawl from this lesson from this learning.
And I've just come back on and realize that it has recovered, it is autosaved IT technology. You know, we're in this Aquarian energy, you know, really came to the fore at the end of last year. It's all about technology. It's about stuff being taken care of, outside of what we know to be true within the physical body. It's out there, right.
And I am just in awe of the fact that we are moving through such transformative times right now, where we are connecting even more to realms outside of ourselves, that we have so much more love over fear. Where we have more compassion for ourselves, where we are leaning in much more than we ever have to learning more about ourselves on a soul level, having compassion for ourselves, compassion for the situations that we're in, how we are able to learn, interpret and know our energy and to be able to shift that energy really, really, really fast very quickly. And there's so much power in that.
And there's so much power and confidence in that knowing that you can just move through anything. And this is a perfect example. Right? I was. I can't even remember, as I'm recording this. Now, the last thing I said in the recording before we had the power cut, and I don't care. I'm just going with it. I'm going with the flow. But I want to just give you a little story a very quick story of what transpired right off done, the power went off.
This is a perfect example of everything happens for a reason. divine timing is the only timing that is worth that has any value. When it comes to soul growth, Soul evolution and looking at those cycles, it's incredible. So the power went off, I had a two-second panic, oh my goodness, I've lost this recording, I'm going to need to record it again. I took a breath. And I got my laptop out. And because I was working on my main computer, to record this, got my laptop out, sat down.
And as I sat down, and I was about to pick up my phone, I picked up my phone. And my, there is a version of my self-soothing, right, that jumps into scrolling on Instagram. That's another point, right? If when we coming back, that's right, we were talking about self-soothing, look at where you would normally what would you normally use to self soothe.
And if that self-soothing, isn't happy, isn't healthy, and doesn't make you happy? switch up your self-soothing to, at the very least, if you want trying the tools that I've already shared, or for yourself just going what is going to self soothe me currently in a healthy way, and then do the thing, whatever comes through. This is really, really important anyway, so my form of self-soothing, for me habitual is to scroll on Instagram. So I picked up my phone, and Kid you not a notification came straight through from Instagram, you have a follower. Okay, so I'll click on the profile to see who it is.
And it's a profile of an interior designer. And you know, when you look at a profile, it shows you just down below from the words from the profile words, it shows you who else follows them, or who else you follow that they follow. So it gives you an indication of what the connections are. And it only had this profile only had one common connection between him and I. And it is an Instagram profile known as Snoke, photography.
Everything is divinely guided right? Everything happens for a reason, I was obviously meant to experience the power cart, so that I could be led to seeing this notification on my phone. Because I needed to make a connection with spirit. Snoke is the name of my great grandmother, Nanny snuck. And the moment I wasn't even paying attention to the interior designers profile, I just saw the name snuck photograph. And I knew exactly what this is for. So my dear great grandmother was connecting was in contact. And so at that point, I put down my laptop, and I jumped into my meditation.
And I have a certain ritual I use I have a use my own prayer for connecting to my higher self to the Dominion. And then I invited in my great grandmother. And she shared with me just it was just stunning. It was amazing, really loving. And she shared with me some I would say some not intimate but some, some personal things, some things that I'm working on, at the moment where I was having a bit of a stumbling block with my creativity. And so can you see how that was now linked to what I was sharing earlier about having a block around creativity. So she was coming in and she shared with me an acknowledgement confirmation of the fact that that has been cleared.
And what I am due to be doing creatively in terms of helping others connect to their loved ones to their highest self. And she basically gave me a little exercise a tool to use to help others to do that. So she's basically helping me write my content. How amazing is that? So in the physical world, there's me waking up in the morning with the intention of creating this podcast episode, I've been taken off in another direction and being given some information that is going to support me and support my dreams and intentions and to make it happened.
Oh my goodness, this is how life works. Now, this is the age that we are in the energy we're in. And there are so many things, so many experiences that are coming into our field now. And sometimes it feels like we are struggling to manage it that we are unable to really handle it. And that's because we are taking tools, we're using tools, we are handling it in a way that we have previously handled things.
And that's a reminder again, to really just let go to surrender, and to do things differently, and embrace doing things differently. So I'm going to leave that there, because I want to go and journal what my great grandmother has shared with me. And interestingly, there is another synchronicity. So she lived to 100. And I have an intention in my field to want to live to make 100 years old.
And so that's another beautiful synchrony, synchronicity and reminder of setting those intentions and following the messages and just doing the thing. I know it takes focus, it takes awareness, it takes a really strong intention to do that which you are not used to doing. But this is the time, this is the time, we are moving more from fear to love.
